Attention AT&T High Speed Internet Users Using Outlook 2010 and Getting Log-In Errors...
Attention AT&T High Speed Internet (DSL) Users Using Outlook 2010 and Getting Log-In Errors:
After spending over two hours on three different support calls with AT and T, I learned ATT DSL customers must visit my.yahoo.com in order to "allow use" of Outlook 2010. Simply go to my.yahoo.com, and log in with your ATT POP3 email account username/email and password, then magically Outlook with be able to log into the mail servers and check/download your email without getting a password prompt dialog box everytime, eventhough you use the correct username/email and password. Unitl you log onto my.yahoo.com Outlook will generate errors.
Note: Make sure you have the correct servers and ports in account settings as well.
Thanks AT and F*&%king T!
